The device collects nearly 40 data points (consumption, feedback, phase parameters, reactive energies, etc.) from the meter and transmits them on MQTT, Home Assistant, JSON API endpoints, to the cloud or local network. Thanks to the JSON API output, it can be easily integrated into Grafana and InfluxDB systems as well. It also has its own web server (http://okosvillanyora.local:8989/), where the data can be viewed. Remote monitoring is available via Wi-Fi connection. Supports OTA updates.

Besides local data outputs, for remote access the smartvillanyora.hu and hmke.app cloud services can be used free of charge. If you use it with Home Assistant, then data storage happens on the local network in the Home Assistant system.

The device’s Home Assistant integration can be downloaded from HACS. This integration can distinguish multiple devices if you use more than one ADA P1 Meter for several meters.

With the above-mentioned cloud services, remote data storage is also available, which is subject to fees. More information can be found on the https://okosvillanyora.hu website. All our other cloud-based services are available with a subscription (annual or monthly). The cloud service is provided free of charge for pensioners.

Power on: Connect to a USB power supply or directly to the smart meter. The device starts with three quick blue flashes.
Wi-Fi settings: On first startup, it creates a Wi-Fi hotspot named “okosvillanyora.hu”, password: "12345678". Connect to it and open the configuration interface in your browser at the address “http://192.168.4.1”. Set your own 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, and if needed, enter the email address and password for registration.
Reset: If wrong data is entered, you can reset the device by holding the "RESET" button for 5 seconds.
Viewing data: Data can be accessed at “http://okosvillanyora.local:8989”, Wi-Fi connection required.
For developers: Measured data is also available in JSON format at “http://okosvillanyora.local:8989/json“.
Firmware update: At startup, the device automatically checks and updates the firmware if a new version is available.
Warranty: 1 year
Maintenance: Firmware updates are regularly required for optimal operation.
